Dear Friends of NextStep Fitness,

Please join us for the third annual  “ Help Make a Difference” New York City Fundraiser. This event, being held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Avenue, will bring together community leaders, local businesses, those affected by paralysis and friends in support of a worthy charitable cause. NextStep Fitness, a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, brings the latest in fitness innovation, health and wellness to individuals living with paralysis and other neurological disabilities ( http://www.nextstepfitness.org). NextStep Fitness caught the nation’s attention when it was featured on ABC’s “Good Morning America” profiling its founder, Janne Kouri, and Locomotor Training, the cutting edge intervention, he helped bring into the community for paralyzed individuals. Hosted and catered by Avenue, sponsored by Spring 44FRED Water, McKenna Long & Aldridge, and The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, a silent auction and music will create a great atmosphere throughout the evening.

This event is designed to unite the local New York community around an important cause, increase awareness about the lack of resources available for the disabled nationwide, and raise funds to enable NextStep to continue the services it currently provides to clients coming from across the country and to assist expansion to new communities.
