Commercially supported campaigns – Lady Foot Locker

It is not all about donations. We have seen a trend, thankfully, of giving people the chance to buy products they can really use and at the same time contribute to a cause. The RED campaign is a prominent example. We now have another effort, this time from Lady Foot Locker, which we highlight below. We have all bought cookies and brownies to support a very local cause. No reason we can’t buy bigger ticket items to do the same thing.

This October Lady Foot Locker Is Fashioned for a Cause

NEW YORK, Oct. 06 /CSRwire/ – In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lady Foot Locker reaches out to women of all ages with a collection of fashionable “pink” products. Touting messages of hope and inspiration, the line supports the efforts of the American Cancer Society® (ACS).

The same “HOPE” graphic can be seen on the recycled tote, which will sell for $3. A pink string bracelet tops off the assortment at $2.50. Lady Foot Locker also offers a specially designed “pink” inspired gift card in which 10% of the purchase value goes towards the Society, in addition to a dedication card that has a cell phone decal and guidelines for early detection on the back.
