Nov. 27 deadline for abstracts for "Making the Difference" event

SportBusiness event Making The Difference – The Sport and Social Responsibility Summit – is seeking submissions of papers showcasing novel ideas, approaches and campaigns in sport and social responsibility ahead of its next edition in March 2010.

The event organisers say it will seek to answer the question: “In these changing times how do sport and social responsibility fit together?”

The 2009 edition of the conference saw contributions from, among others, former NBA star John Amaechi, Simon Morgan of the Premier League, Tricia Thompson of BSkyB, Matt Roberts of Eurosport and Mel Young, founder of the Homeless World Cup.

The organisers now want abstracts which show the objectives of the campaigns and their relevance to the challenges of the programme or campaign for consideration by the Committee .

The 350 word abstracts are to be emailed to conferences@sportbusiness.com no later than Friday 27th November.”
