We recently came across an interesting piece by Dale Neuburger, Director, TSE United States. It was published right after the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which came two months after the International  Olympic Committee (IOC) selected Rio as the host of the 2016 Games. Dale connects the two meetings, which both took place in Copenhagen, and highlights the growing importance of environmental issues and policy, for its own sake, but also as a strategic tool for bidding cities and major sponsors.
