The NBA free agency kicked off today, July 1, at 12:01am. While this is the most anticipated free agent class ever, I don’t hold out a lot of hope that the Knicks will get any of the prized players. But many do. And that hope, however, delusional it may be in some situations, is what makes sports so great. Hope is free. You can have hope for success by your favorite player, team, or even your country when in the World Cup or Olympics. There is no cap on how much hope you can have.

We wish all the players and teams, but especially the fans, the best of luck that their hope turns into a reality.
