I had the good fortune of working for Professor Ken Shropshire of the Wharton Business School almost 15 years ago while he was working on his book, In Black and White: Race and Sports America. I learned a lot then and I am sure attendees at the Sports, Race and Power Conference at Duke next week will do the same. The conference takes place October 28, 29, 30, 2009.
