Beyond Sport is delighted to announce that the Beyond Sport Summit and Awards 2010 will take place in Chicago next year from 27th-30th September.

Fresh from the success of the inaugural Beyond Sport event in London last July, Chicago will take up the reins for 2010 becoming the focus of the continuing evolution of the Beyond Sport network and its mission to celebrate and support the use of sport as a vehicle for positive social change.

The Summit 2010 will again look to collide representatives from all sides of government, business, sport and philanthropy through a variety of workshops, presentations, interviews and discussions.

In response to overwhelming demand, next year’s event has been extended from three days to four for the second staging of the Summit.

Throughout the four days, all attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Beyond Sport’s extensive network of international sports federations and rights holders, corporate companies, global aid organisations, influential political figures, and world leaders.

Once again representatives from all of the shortlisted Beyond Sport Awards 2010 projects across the world will be brought to the Summit in Chicago to share their insights and best practices from the front line of the sport and development.

Having celebrated the best sport and development projects from across the world in 2009, the Beyond Sport Awards will open for entries once again in January next year with the winners to be announced at the Summit in September 2010.

Further announcements on speakers and panellists as well as details on how to attend the second Beyond Sport Summit will be made in the coming weeks and months.

Beyond Sport is a global initiative that seeks to celebrate and support any organisation or individual with the goal to drive positive social change through sport.
