Lester Munson of ESPN.com has a piece on the new biography of one of the NFL’s great players, Hall of Famer Alan Page.  Justice Page was a member of the Purple People Eaters defensive line of the Minnesota Vikings and was a winner in every sense of the word on the field. And he showed that he was off the field as well. He earned a law degree while playing. That’s right, he earned a law degree, unlike some players whose presence in a courtroom is of an involuntary nature.

I don’t remember Page as a player but I have had the opportunity to read about his work as a practitioner of the law and his esteemed foundation.
