Following the great success of its inaugural effort in 2009, Beyond Sport will once again hold its Summit and Awards event.  The Beyond Sport Awards 2010, which allow any organization or individual using sport as a tool to better communities, are now open for entries.  (The deadline for entries is April 16.)

Last year, 32 shortlisted entries were flown to London for the inaugural Summit, with six winners receiving £10,000 and a substantial business support package.

This year’s Awards will see winners in the following categories:

•    UNICEF Sport for Education Award
•    Best New Project
•    Sport for Health Award
•    Sport for Social Inclusion Award
•    Sport for Conflict Resolution Award
•    Sport for the Environment Award
•    Corporation of the Year Award
•    Sport Team of the Year Award
•    Federation of the Year Award
